Nils Folkeson Kile, ordained 1899. United (Lutheran) Church, 1899-present

Born at Aamli, East Nedenes, Kristiansand on Sept. 4, 1869.  His parents were Nilson K. and Hælge A. (nee Homdrom).

He immigrated to the US in 1877 and studied at Augsburg Seminary from 1889-92, Grand Forks College from 1892-1894, the United Church Seminar from 1894-1899.

He served as a pastor in St Paul MN, 1899-1900; Warren MN, 1901-1904; Fisher MN, 1904-1908; Glyndon MN, 1908-1914; and as an evangelist in Fargo ND 1914-present.

He married Gro Nilson in 1889.  She died in 1913.
