Harald Berg Kildahl, ordained in 1898 in the United (Norwegian Lutheran) Church.

Harald was born in Beistaden, North Indherred, Trondhjem on March 13, 1865.  His parents were Johan K. and Nicoline A. (nee Buwarp).

He immigrated to the United States in 1866 and attended St. Olaf College from 1888-1895 and the United Church Seminary from 1895-1898.

As a pastor, he served in Moorhead MN, 1898-1900; Chicago IL 1900-1902; Milwaukee WI 1912-current.  From 1902-1912 he was the principal of the (United Lutheran supported) Chicago Nursing School.

Member of the board of charities, 1911; Teacher of religion, Concordia College, 1898; Editor, "Children's Companion," 1900-1904; Editor, "Diakonissen," 1909-1912.

Married Carrie Emelia Olson in 1898.
