WHAT YOU NEED

• Small glass, bottle, jar, or other clear glass or plastic container

• Colored sand

• Potting Soil

• Rocks

• Very small cactus and/or aloe vera plants

              plus

• spoon

• knife

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Spoon colored sand into container. Use the knife to create patterns in the sand. Fill container about 1/3 full.

2. Place a layer of sand about 1" deep in container.

3. Plant cactus.

4. Place rock.

5. Do not put a cover on your terrarium.  Place it in a window in direct sunlight.
