Fiery Furnace Window Craft Project
| You will need: | ||||

| Instructions | |||
| 1. | Cut a rectangular hole in the cardstock to make a frame. You can use craft scissors. Work with the frame in landscape (long edge on top and bottom). | ||
| 2. | Cut a piece of wax paper long enough to fill the frame when folded in half. | ||
| 3. | Print the figures of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and the angel, color them and cut them out. | ||
| 4. | Sharpen red and yellow crayons. Place the shavings between the layers of wax paper. Put more on the bottom of the wax paper. Don't fill the wax paper completely with shavings! | ||
| 5. | Place a towel on the ironing board and lay the folded wax paper on top (with crayon shavings inside). | ||
| 6. | Place another towel over the wax paper and iron (use a low setting). The crayon should melt, hold the wax paper together and look like fire. | ||
| 7. | Use doublestick tape to attach the 4 figures face front to the back of the wax paper. This should make it look like Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and the angel are looking through a wall of flames. | ||
| 8. | Place a thin line of glue around the inside edge of (what will be the back of) your frame. | ||
| 9. | Carefully glue the wax paper into place on the back of the frame. | ||
| 10. | Use the hole punch to make a hole in each top corner of the frame. | ||
| 11. | Run a string through both holes and tie in a bow. Your furnace is ready to hang on a window! | ||
| Variations: Choose a phrase or verse from the Bible story and write it on the bottom of the frame. | |||
