 Books of the Bible Craft Project

	You will need:
				69 craft sticks, approx. 3/8" wide ribbon (7/8" wide is recommended)
		plus
					black marker craft glue stick parchment paper

Instructions
	1.	Write the name of the each book of the Bible on a craft stick.   Try to center the name on the craft stick. To make titles for each list, write "The Old Testament" on a stick and "The New Testament" on another. There will be one extra stick when done.
	2.	Place the sticks in the correct order for each Testament with the title stick at the top.
	3.	OLD TESTAMENT:  Cut a 32" length of ribbon    NEW TESTAMENT: Cut a 24" length of ribbon.  (Larger craft sticks will require a longer length of ribbon)
For each Testament:
The purple stick used as a spacer	4.	Place a strip of parchment paper under the whole ribbon.
	5.	Center the title stick (Old or New Testament) at the top of the ribbon.  Apply glue to the back of the stick and glue into place.
	6.	Use the extra stick as a spacer.  Place the stick tightly against the previous stick.  Apply glue to the back of the next stick and glue into place.   Remove the spacer stick.
	7.	Repeat step 6 for each book of the Bible.  Be sure to keep the books in the right order!
	8.	Let dry for 15-30 minutes.   Carefully pull up from parchment paper.
	9.	Fold the sticks together like a fan.  Use another length of ribbon to tie together to store and carry home.

Use tape or a thumbtack to hang your lists of books of the Bible on the wall!

     Variations:  In the example, different colored craft sticks have been used for the different categories of books in the Old Testament.  The Bible page shows these divisions.
